A star-studded cast come together for this 1995 BBC adaptation of P.G. Wodehouse's novel. Scandal looks set to break out at Blandings Castle, home of the Earl of Emsworth (Peter O'Toole). His brother, Galahad Threepwood (Richard Briers), is about to publish a tell-all autobiography, while the Earl's nephew wishes to marry a chorus girl. The Earl's sister, Lady Constance (Judy Parfitt), wishes to call a halt to all such shenanigans, but the Earl is more concerned with the health of his prize pig.

This gem of a comedy brilliantly combines all the complicated neatness of a typically barmy P.G.Wodehouse plot with excellent performances by all the actors, from Peter O'Toole's almost sublime dottiness as Lord Emsworth to Beach the Butler's perfection (why don't we see Roy Hudd in many more films?) Richard Briers and Judy Parfitt are excellent, Richard Johnson, David Bamber, Sam West, Rebecca Lacy, Benjamin Soames..all a perfect fit:
